The idea for DevDynamics was born because we were frustrated by the state of engineering management at most companies - gut-based, disruptive to productivity and with no clear line-of-sight to improve things.
We knew there had to be a better way. While the goals of engineering remain the same - deliver ever higher quality software, at faster speeds, while maintaining a harmonious and collaborative engineering culture - the methods to achieve those goals were lacking.
We began having conversations with software leaders about this and have organised those insights into principles that help create a world class engineering team -
